FJVTC: Charmy Bee

There are times when I'm sitting in my chair, listening to my tunes, and a certain question floats into my head: will Chamry's parents come back for him? I wish I could go out and find them, the moment I saw them I knew they weren't off well. The couple didn't even have enough to care for themselves they were so poor. I wanted to give them some money, let them stay under my roof, give them food, hand to them anything and everything they needed on a silver platter but they told me caring for their son was all they wanted from me. I don't know what happened to them after they walked out these front doors of mine but I hope they are okay, I hope they didn't forget about their son, I hope they come back to raise Charmy when they are fine. I'm sure Charmy doesn't remember them, he was no more than a year old at the time, he doesn't ask any questions about his parents and I don't know what to say to him if he does. When and if I come across his parents again I want to make sure everything will be okay with them and their son.

They told me to keep Charmy out of trouble, make sure he's safe, raise him properly; I think I'm doing a pretty good job. He's just like any other boy out there- playing video games, reading comic books. Those are the only needs that he will nag about, game time and the mailbox with one of those superhero comics in it a few times a month, easy stuff. Raising Charmy can get tough at times, he's loud and makes a big mess wherever he goes but what could I do? He's a boy; boys have to run- or in his case fly- around and get all that energy out of them, see the world. I knew there was something missing when I joined this crew of mine; Charmy's taste for adventure, his willingness to find out anything and everything to complete our files, and the fact that the boy's real friendly, we truly need him.
